This featured work, "The Ominous Sky" is a digital painting of a North Carolina suburban scene. It is a cloudy day, yet there is the ominous presence of a red sun which is giving a foreboding of things to come. There is a richness and beauty in the sky, yet a tension of perhaps an uncertain future. It could be a storm or the threat of an unknown calamity. Will the brightly colored fence keep the unknown back, or will it invade the safeness of our suburban lives?
